About Focus on Energy
Focus on Energy is Wisconsin utilities’ statewide energy efficiency and renewable resource program. Since 2001, the Program has worked with eligible Wisconsin residents and businesses to install cost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. The information, resources and financial incentives we provide allow for energy-saving projects that otherwise would not be completed, or complete projects sooner than scheduled. These energy projects:
- Help Wisconsin residents and businesses manage rising energy costs
- Promote in-state economic development
- Protect our environment
- Control Wisconsin’s growing demand for electricity and natural gas
Focus on Energy is funded by the state’s investor-owned energy utilities, as required under Wis. Stat. § 196.374(2)(a), and participating municipal and electric cooperative utilities. To participate in Focus on Energy programs, residents or business owners must be customers of a participating utility.
